Cleaning and Sealing
Pavers are a beautiful addition to any home. However they are exposed to elements such as sun, water salts, grease and anything foreign that falls on them. Without care and maintenance they can lose their initial colors and appeal.
Cleaning and sealing your pavers increases their longevity and protects them from the elements. It creates a barrier on top of the pavers that repels water, oil, road salts and ice melt or anything else you might accidentally drop on them. It enhances their color and reduces surface deterioration and wear.
It’s usually a two day process. The first day is used to clean the surface. We use a commercial grade pressure washer that is attached to a rotary surface cleaning machine. This machine regulates the position and angle of attack of the water jets for precise cleaning that won’t harm the pavers.
The second day (weather permitting) or after the surface is completely dry, sealer is spayed on the surface and back rolled. Vehicle traffic is restricted for 24 to 48 hours and pedestrian traffic 12 to 24 hours.
